BELIZE BIODIVERSITY INFORMATION
SYSTEM.These species accounts for Belize are abbreviated versions of distribution
information compiled on each species in the Belize Biodiversity Information System
(BBIS). BELIZE FOUNDATION
FOR RESEARCH AND ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION.BFREE is a private research and educational
facility located on a 1153 acre reserve in southern Belize, Central America. Founded
in 1994 by professional biologists Jacob and Kelly Marlin. BIODIVERSITY
IN BELIZE.Belize is a small country but it is known for its high biodiversity,
meaning that there are many species found in a small area. There exists much information
on Belize's biodiversity but this can be difficult to find. This site hopes to
remedy this problem and together with Related links to quality sites. BIRDS
OF BELIZE.As many as 575 species of birds have been reported for Belize including
many erroneous and/or unverified reports. The actual number of species for Belize
probably numbers somewhere around 540. FISH.This
